K-Style Hub

Introducing a really cool place in Seoul which offers unique experience to tourists: K-Style Hub! This will not be a comprehensive guide since you can easily Google it, I'm just gonna roughly share what I've experienced during my visit.

The second floor is probably the most interesting bit for my family and I; we have learned so much thanks to the medical tourism. You can check your health conditions such as body weight, heartbeat, and stress level for free here. You can even do skin analysis to understand your skin type and conditions and this is obviously important before you head to Myeongdong for shopping! Duh, you need to know what kind of products is suitable for you right?

Since the image of skin analysis is very disturbing lol wtf, I'm not gonna post it here. But I recommend everyone to give it a try especially if you're like me who doesn't really take good care of your skin. You need to know what kind of deep shit you're in so that you will be scared and start taking your skincare routine seriously HAHAHA.

We met a very friendly and patient staff who explained our skin conditions to us and most important of all, she was really considerate as she stopped a lady who kept staring at our results (the disturbing image remember? lolol). In short, the skin analysis basically shows your results in comparison to your peer group.

By the way, you also get free stuff if you do a survey for them! We got hot pack since it was winter season :3

As for tea therapy, we answered some questions on a device and the staff prepared a cup of hot tea for us based on our results.

After going on a 360 degree virtual tour in Korea with VR and taking photos with our favorite celebrities, we moved on to the third floor which is the Korean food exhibition hall.

Doesn't it look magical?

Since we unexpectedly spent a lot of time at K-Style Hub (especially at medical tourism), we decided to settle our lunch on the fourth floor: the Korean food experience hall, whereby I ordered a bibimbap.

To be frank, we expected the price to be steeper than outside because it's kind of like a tourist attraction? However, the price was acceptable to us since the setting was really prim and proper with professional chefs cooking.

Personally I think it's worthwhile to drop by K-Style Hub if you're around the area. The medical tourism part was an eye opener for all of us and we were so fascinated by the technology used!
